Article 3 of the FTA provides for liberalization of bilateral trade in services between the United States and Jordan. With the liberalization of trade in services, United States companies will have greater access to Jordanian service industries, especially tourism, transportation, health, financial, education, environmental, business, communications, distribution and recreational/cultural services.

The liberalization of trade between the United States and Jordan is based upon their commitments to the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and as specified under Annex 3.1: Schedule Services.
