Trade with the United States
The last five years of trade between the Jordan and the United
States has witnessed significant improvement. From 1997 to 2001, the total
trade between the two countries has increased substantially- 59%. Throughout
these years, the United States exports to Jordan have remained relatively
stable. However, Jordan has witnessed more than a 3000% increase in exports to
the United States during this period.

of aircraft parts and telecommunication equipment. Other significant categories
